Summary/Abstract: The article presents contemporary tendencies in performance management, how to implement a successful process in the organizations and whkey positions are defined and why these processes are important for the organizations and employees. Presented are good examples of performance management and how is it connected to learning and career development, talent management remuneration management and others. Introduced is an empirical survey which shows the process in one organization. Presented are the key roles of organizational psychologists and human resources experts in the preparation, communication and the training of managers and employees, in order to create an effective and successful process for organizations and employees.
