Summary/Abstract: It is difficult to overstate the need to improve customer relationship management (CRM), especially in the area of relationships with key customers. Against this background the main goal of the article is an attempt to identify potential directions of significant innovations in customer relationship management. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities in this regard which are potentially available for small and medium businesses. Several case studies were conducted.
