Summary/Abstract: Company growth may be regarded as a multi-aspect category. Several of these aspects relate indirectly or directly to the area of customer relationships management (CRM). Against this background, in the article the attention is paid to one of company growth dimensions, which is the increase in the customer relationship value. The goal of the article is an attempt to formulate some guidelines for the identification of barriers to increase the customer relationship value, resulting in inadequate formation of the relationship strength. The focus is on the customer involvement and his satisfaction with the relationship. These guidelines, to 186 Milleniusz W. Nowak a large extent, were confirmed with regard to the analyzed case of the company operating on consumer markets.
