Summary/Abstract: The article interprets the turning points that organize the literary life of Polish journalism.The starting point is the commonly used turning point of 1989, a division proposedby Kazimierz Wolny-Zmorzyński. Without losing sight of the above references, Darskaproposes to employ “micro turning points” to note the ones that significantly influencegenre development and the beginning of a new stage in the functioning of journalismtoday. An important context for the presented proposal is the new media reality and role.
