Summary/Abstract: The article reads anew Witold Gombrowicz’s Wędrówki po Argentynie (Wandering inArgentina) considering the recent interpretive categories related to affective experience.Naróg analyzes Gombrowicz’s book with categories of revulsion, national identity, orpoliticality, with additional context provided by the theoretical concepts by Sara Ahmed,Immanuel Wallerstein, Ryszard Nycz, and Przemysław Czapliński. Naróg expands theirinterpretations with contexts related to colonial perception of communality, corporeality,and attempts at the symbolical mapping of the image of Poland and Argentina.
