Summary/Abstract: At the end of 2021, the Liberec Regional Gallery (Oblastní galerie Liberec) held an exhibition titled Obrazy zášti: vizuální projevy antijudaismu a antisemitismu v českých zemích [Images of Malice: Visual Representations of Anti-Judaism and Antisemitism in the Bohemian Lands] (1 October 2021 – 2 January 2022). This was one of the outputs of the project Obraz nepřítele. Vizuální projevy antisemitismu v českých zemích od středověku po současnost [The Image of the Enemy: Visual Representations of Antisemitism in the Bohemian/Czech Lands from the Middle Ages to the Present Day], No. DG18P02OVV039, funded by the Czech Ministry of Culture under the NAKI II programme. Art history experts and antisemitism researchers joined forces for this project, which ran from 2018 to 2021. Czech researchers working on the project also collaborated with experts from institutions in Hungary, Poland, and Israel.
