Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present note is to introduce to the scientific circuit a Roman amphora, of the Forlimpopoli type, discovered at Polocin, in a dwelling belonging to the Santana de Mureș-Cerneahov culture. The amphora was produced in the western part of the Roman Empire and was used to transport wine. This type of amphora, attested for the first time in the eastern Carpathian area, can be dated back to the first half of the 4th century AD.
