Summary/Abstract: The article briefly presents the testaments and their legal effect in the context of various categorizations. The subject of analysis are the diverse legal consequences that occur as a result of some specific characteristics of the legal institute and in particular the way in which the testimony and its subject matter are formulated. An analysis of the practical complications arising from these theoretical concepts is also featured.
