Summary/Abstract: Teams Facing Childcare Infected with HIV (human immuno¬deficiency syndrome) are exposed daily to ethical dilemmas, especially in matters of professional secrecy, confidentiality and sharing information, both with the child and their family, and in relation to other professionals and caregivers. This disease, which we look after but not heal the sick induce exclusion, through fear of contagion, by gravity, often inducing a stigmatiza¬tion of the persons concerned. Suffering interferes with life and projects of the sick person, especially sexuality, couple relationship and with children. In addition to complex situations encountered in clinical practice are constantly weighed child dependency and parental authority, respect patient confiden¬tiality which is appropriate and possible endangerment of another, the unpredictable impact of information and lack of information risks.
