Validation of a supporting tool for developing pupils‘ textual production in primary education

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the process of validation of a proposed tool for developing pupils‘ textual production in primary education. In addition to the description of the validation process, the paper also provides a content analysis of 58 selected studies focused on text production of pupils in the primary level, on which basis some effective strategies and programmes for supporting text production were identified and became an inspiration for designing the aforementioned supporting tool. The pilot validation provided some interesting suggestions for further improvement of this tool. The paper thus offers not only inspirations for validating of proposed tools in educational practice, but also informs about some possibilities of evaluating the texts produced by pupils aged 7-11 years.
