Summary/Abstract: This article deals briefly with the definition of the concept of quality in relation to education and offers an overview of research that has focused on this issue. The main aim of the article is to point out new trends in the field of education quality assessment, focusing on content integrity. This article aims to contribute to making such approaches a common part of the evaluation of the quality of educational processes with a focus on native tongue teaching. The article deals with authentic transcripts of Slovak language and literature lessons which reveal phenomena and didactic formalisms that are important to draw attention to. The paper also discusses the importance of evaluating and improving the quality of education in our educational environment, what components and characteristics are part of the quality of education and what leads to stream lining the educational process in native tongue teaching, but also in the development of text production.
