Summary/Abstract: Our research aims to date the undated manuscripts of Bishop Samuil Vulcan, according to the filigranological method. For this, the watermarks from his undated manuscript texts were identified, which were described and analysed comparatively. Research has also been undertaken to identify the paper mill in which the watermarks were produced and the years in which these watermarks were used, all of this contributing to the dating, approximately, of the studied texts. Along with the filigranological information, in support of our opinions regarding the dating of the texts in question, other historical arguments are brought meant to support the dating proposed by us. The identified data allowed to establish the approximate period but also the order in which Samuil Vulcan wrote his manuscripts. Thus, the period in which these manuscripts were written is between 1787 and 1800, partly confirming the dating known so far.
