Summary/Abstract: The article is an autoethnographic study of the socio-cultural perspective of postmodern motherhood. A motherhood like there are many: entangled in stereotypes, judgments, media advice broadcast by television, radio, or published on parenting forum boards. By applying the adopted method, I am heading towards the individual and subjective life experience of a woman, which seems to elude any scientific findings. In order to present the environment in which I was brought up and the culture in which I function as a mother, I analyzed the most difficult experiences at the beginning of motherhood. Content related to the socio-cultural perspective is provided in italics in the text. The difficult situations described in the article do not give reasons to define my motherhood as difficult, but they present the everyday life of many ordinary, loving, tired and self-doubting mothers. And each of them deserves the help of the system, as suggested in the last part of the article.
