Summary/Abstract: The text is an attempt to respond to the article by Joanna Rutkowiak entitled: “Rancièrian emancipatory interpretations; The experience of academic work in non-state higher education institutions located in the Warmia-Mazury region”. With the use of Bourdieu’s metaphors of exoticizing and domesticating the author concludes that Rutkowiak’s approach can be referred to as the exoticizing the domesticated with the reference to teaching practices conducted the sector of HE.
