Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to reveal the reflections of the conversations about teachers in the media on teachers' professional happiness and to determine what needs to be done to increase the professional happiness of teachers. The current research has been carried out with the phenomenology design using the qualitative research method. The research is important in terms of showing how effective the speeches made about them in the media are on teachers' professional happiness. The study group of the research has been determined by criterion sampling technique within the scope of the purposeful sampling. The data obtained by the semi-structured interview technique has been analyzed by the descriptive analysis method. As a result of the analysis, the researchers have found that the participants equated the concept of happiness with joy, appreciation, peace, belonging, and feeling safe. The participants have listed the factors affecting professional happiness as school management, student success, professional dignity-appreciation, media, opportunities the school has, colleagues, and parents. In addition, the researchers have determined that most of the participants (9 teachers) have negative thoughts about the news about teachers in the media, very few (2 teachers) have positive thoughts, and only one has neutral thoughts. Finally, the participants have offered some suggestions to increase the professional happiness of the teachers. In line with all these findings, the researchers have concluded that the professional happiness of teachers should be ensured to maintain their professional dedication.
