Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issue of evaluation and classification at the 1st level of primary school. Evaluation is an essential part of interpersonal relationships and in school conditions. Evaluation is carried out there with the participation of all members of the educational process. The post assesses the verbal evaluation in more detail, describes the personality of a pupil with special educational needs and generalizes the results and sets out recommendations for practice.
