Summary/Abstract: The pandemic process has affected people all over the world in many ways. University students have also had to adapt to changes in both daily life and educational life. In this study, it was aimed to examine whether there is a difference in the level of meaning of life, death anxiety and well-being of university students approximately five months after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and one year after that. In addition, it was tried to determine the factors affecting the well-being of the students at the beginning of the pandemic and in the period after one year. Data were collected with the Meaning of Life Scale (ML), Thorson-Power Death Anxiety Scale, and Well-Star Scale (WSS). Correlated sample t-Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test in the comparison of pre-test and post-test data and CHAID analysis was used to determine the factors affecting the WSS scores. As a result; It was determined that there was no significant difference between the ML and Thorson Powell Death Anxiety pre-test -post-test scores of university students, but there was a significant decrease in WSS post-test scores. It has been determined that the most important factor affecting well-being, both at the beginning of the pandemic and in the period after the pandemic, is the current meaning attributed to life. As the meaning of life of university students increased, their level of well-being also increased.
