Summary/Abstract: The study group of this research which aimed to compare the parenting attitudes of parents living in Turkey and abroad who have preschool children is consisted of 132 parents including 114 mothers and 18 fathers. Family Information Form and Parental Attitude Scale (PAS) A- Form were used for data collection. At the end of this research; It was concluded that parents living in Turkey consider themselves more democratic than those ones living abroad. It was determined that parental attitudes were not affected by the gender of children and the age of parents; it was affected by education levels and working status of parents.
