Summary/Abstract: This paper is going to present a description of syntagmic relations in the Serbo-Croatian Heroic Songs, a compendium of epic poems published in 1953, collected through efforts by Milman Parry, a Harvard professor and Homeric scholar. The paper’s focus is on the description of syntagmic relations that are specific for Parry-Lord’s collection of poems. A section of this paper is dedicated to syntagmic lexical relations as well.
