Summary/Abstract: Food contains the nutrients necessary for the maintenance of human life. Food products produced according to the geography they live in change and nutrition culture and habits are shaped in this direction. The developments in science and technology also affect the eating habits indirectly by changing the production techniques. The relationship between eating habits, food and culture also provides the formation of the gastronomic image of the regions. The formation and promotion of the image of gastronomy is an important element for tourism destinations.Local food of a destination is used extensively in tourism marketing as it represents an experience that distinguishes it from other regions. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to determine how gastro-tourists visiting food and beverage businesses eat in their daily lives and whether their eating habits change during their holidays. In this context, a questionnaire was applied to gastrotourists coming to Adana city center. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the gastro-tourists coming to Adana eat healthy and make their food consumption preferences in this direction during their visit.
