Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the visitors’ intention of participation in gastronomic activities. It is also aimed to determine the intention of participation in these activities and whether there are differences in some demographic characteristics they have. Survey technique was preferred to collect appropriate data for study aim. Therefore, according to the random sampling method, 396 questionnaires were applied to those who visited the food and beverage businesses in Erzurum. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed with the help of the SPSS program. For the purpose of the study, the frequencies and mean values were examined to determine the intention of participation in the gastronomic activities. Independent T-Test and ANOVA tests were used to determine whether there is any difference between the intention of participation and the demographics they have. According to the test results; It is possible to say that the number of visitors to the gastronomic activities in Erzurum province can be increased. Female visitors were found to have a higher intention of participation in gastronomic activities than male visitors. It has also been determined that monthly income is not effective in participating in gastronomic activities.
