Summary/Abstract: In this article, the circular economy is analyzed as a progressive model of production and consumption at the current stage, proposed by various well-known authors in the researched field, a fact that allowed the argumentation of the authors own visions for arguing the implementation of the principles of the circular economy in the Republic of Moldova, including keeping - the specifics of the national economy are taken into account. The article aims at analysis to analyze the possible socio-ecological and economic effects specific to the global implementation of the circular economy concept in the long term, the authors have developed an algorithm that describes the importance of the implementation and functioning of the circular economy in the socio-economic space of the Republic of Moldova. This approach also allowed the argument that the main focus should be on reducing the pressure on the environment and the efficient and optimal reuse of all resources. Such approaches make it possible to achieve sustainable results in transition economies, and their implementation is possible already at the current stage of the development of the national economy.
