In this context, the aim of the study is to focus on the places where the Syrians living in Kilis tend to concentrate spatially, and to show the refugee clustering or segregation that has emerged in these areas. In this study, a mixed research method, in which both qualitative and quantitative research methods are used, was adopted. In the study, dissimilarity and exposure indices are used to reveal the distribution in urban space. In this context, the results of the index, which are calculated by evaluating/analyzing the data obtained from the field study and the data on the local population from TÜİK, are visualized in the GIS environment. In this context, the study was subjected to descriptive analysis by evaluating together with the numerical data obtained by taking into account the observations made in the field. The findings of the study indicate the existence of traces of segregation at the spatial level of the Syrians in the city of Kilis. The distribution patterns of the Syrians in Kilis reveal that there is a Syrian cluster in the spatial units in the periphery of the city center, especially in the city center, and their tendency to centralize in the urban space. In addition, a large part of the Syrians living in Kilis, especially in the old houses in the poor neighborhoods of the city, where the income level is low, the households are crowded or in groups consisting of several families.
