ELEMENTS OF THE CULTURE OF SUNDAY OBSERVANCE IN POLAND

Summary/Abstract: Presented problems of the culture of Sunday observance with their certainty are not only Polish specificity, but the entire Western civilization. From the theological and cultural point of view, stand before us a huge task, especially in this question: how to show to the modern man in secularized, global and pluralistic world the sense of Christian Sunday observance and other holidays?. The life of the family community is strongly entered into the culture and also into the Polish national identity. A reason of this optimism is the fact from sociological research which still shows that, in the rising generation the family constitutes one of the most important values. In the maintenance of these values the crucial role can be performed by the proper culture of Sunday observance.
