Summary/Abstract: The „poster carousel” is an interesting didactic technique. It is a task-based form of work inspired by poster sessions, i.e. discussions held at posters. Tony Lynch and Joan Maclean in the article A case of exercising: Effects of immediate task repetition on learners’ performance (2001) showed the relationship between the use of the „carousel” technique and the increase in the accuracy of linguistic production. The results of this study encouraged the author of this article to use the „carousel” technique for developing language activities in a group at B2 level. In the article we will try to answer following questions: Is the „poster carousel” technique an effective tool for teaching the Polish language? What are the benefits of using this technique? How do learners rate this technique? We will try to show that “poster carousel” can successfully integrate oral production, interaction and mediation.
