Oral Communication Strategies Used by an English Individual Learning Polish as a Foreign Language. A Case Study

Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author presents and discusses a few compensatory and interactive communication strategies. The language material comes from five classes at the A2 level. These classes were recorded and the transcripts were analyzed. The researched English student demonstrates a positive approach to the use of different strategic actions. These actions can be observed in his interactions. The author shows that using compensatory and interactive communication strategies may have positive influence to the process of communication.
