Summary/Abstract: In the modern concept of education, information and communication technologies should take a significant place. A key question that is being imposed on teachers is how to transfer knowledge to students, draw their attention and keep an interesting lesson. Analyzing specific educational practices in neighboring countries, we have noted many innovative tendencies in their educational systems: access to a real curriculum, flexibility of educational programs, the use of interactive learning strategies, and focus on learners. The aim of the research was to determine the level of integration of new technologies in teaching in the Romanian language in Vojvodina, the Republic of Serbia. The research was carried out by the survey method that uses the questionnaire as a research tool, based on a sample of 135 respondents, which allowed us to analyze the application of new technologies in teaching and to examine their initial knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies. Based on the results of the research, it is possible to determine two ways of integrating new technologies in teaching in Romanian language: the creation and promotion of a new methodology for ICT-based teaching tools and the enrichment of teaching tools for initial education and continuous teacher training involving the use of new technologies.
