Considerations against Discrimination at the European Level

Summary/Abstract: Discrimination on various grounds is unfortunately encountered and many people face it at the level of the European Union. To ensure the effectiveness and consistency of the European Union’s policy, the principles underlying them are based on the inclusion of human rights within them, as a common element of internal and external policies. For the defense of human rights and implicitly the elimination of cases of discrimination, it is imperative that people know their rights.
