Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on some grammatical and/or pragmatic properties of questions in the Croatian language and various categorisations of questions, i.e., interrogatives, with regard to the situational scope (general and special questions), the degree of informativeness (open-ended, yes-no and alternative questions), the degree of grammaticalization (direct, indirect and rhetorical), the context (initial, echo, suggestive and neutral questions), etc.
