Summary/Abstract: Each state, whether recognized or unrecognized within the United Nations, has a setof unique symbols that differentiate it and give it uniqueness among existing states.These symbols are represented by: The National Flag. National Anthem, NationalEmblem, National Animal, etc. each having a historical and cultural load belongingto the respective state. In the following article I will present the national emblems ofRomania and Poland, highlighting the similarities and differences between them, abrief history of the two emblems and the changes they underwent in the past, andthe symbolism behind the two emblems in the historical and current context.
