Development of specialist vocabulary from the scope of positive psychology in Polish

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is: firstly, to identify chosen words and word connections which possess the status of a term which are counterparts of English appellations created on the basis of a specific research concept, which is positive psychology, secondly to assign most productive lexemes (being the conceptualization of key ideas of a given trend) constituting the derivative base for multi-word names; thirdly — to find lexical units (also these of uncertain status, but belonging to a specialist language), creating semantic fields typical for the discussed scientific theory; fourthly — to indicate a group of metaphorical terms.
