Summary/Abstract: Put together, all components of socialist society could be looked at as part of a global performance. Most applicable for its preparation and realization proved to be Constantine S. Stanislavsky’s system, which left the boundaries of the theaters and began to work on a much larger scale. The authorities recognized some of its key methods and started to implement them on the people. In its pursuit to create powerful and convincing images, socialist photography also mastered Stanislavsky’s system. It successfully made use of its technique of emotional experience and relied on its use, its inclusion in the imagery. In order to achieve maximum realistic result, the person posing before the camera passed through six processes which Stanislavsky considered major in the actor’s work: pro- cess of demanding, process of searching, process of experiencing, process of person- ification, process of fusion and process of impact on the audience.
