Summary/Abstract: In the article, the specificity of the intonational reconsideration of the Ukrainian national anthem in the choral cycle Maidan.2014 composed by Valentin Silvestrov under the impression of the Revolution of Dignity is defined. The relevance of the anthem as an integrating factor for Ukrainians at the modern stage of the liberation struggle is considered. The influence of the liturgical singing is identified that unites the original melody of Mykhailo Verbytsky’s anthem and Silvestrov’s composition.
