Summary/Abstract: The research is focused on the analysis of the role of music scores in historical series and musical series produced by the four national TVs after 1990 as a product of cultural identity. Portalat (The Portal), Revoliutsia Z (Revolution Z), Darvo na zhivota (Tree of Life) and Nedadenite (The Ungiven) produced by BNT, bTV, Nova TV and TV7 are analyzed. The main thesis is that TVs turn into a main ‘ideological center’ through which cultural and political choices are formulated.
