Summary/Abstract: The essence of the conceptual definition of the museum is based on the premise that it represents a medium through which to convey certain messages and ideas. The museum, thus understood, is filled with signs and sign systems, which are available to those who know how to interpret them. Establishment of two realities, one source from which the case was transferred to the new, one in which he passed, the museum object meets the basic semiotic condition that could be a sign. Viz, the museum object, often in a figurative sense, represents to the visitor something that is not himself. Inside the Museum semiotics can be distinguished two ways of studying the museum: the first of them, would be facing the exhibition as a real form of museum message, but the study of character and typology of museum signs, while others, whose scope is somewhat broader, aiming to more of a team to discover the structure of the message of the museum.
