UN summit – tourning point or delaying protection for refugees and migrants?

Summary/Abstract: In the present paper we will present the first UN Summit on refugees and migrants, held at New York. The UN Summit was organized due to the lack of proper response of the member states in tackling the recent refugee crisis, member states which also invited many NGOs to offer their expertise at this Summit. The outcome is represented by a declaration, the New York Declaration which contains guidance for states regarding both the refugee issue and the migration issue.
