Summary/Abstract: At present, the crisis of confidence in the public sector and the ongoing efforts of government worldwide to seek security solutions in various areas of social and economic life are new challenges. The general dissatisfaction with the functioning of the public sector has caused the need for reforms in the public administration and, above all, for effective public management, aimed at seeking tools for effective change management and adequate crisis response, which is undoubtedly linked to the increased role of security in modern society in all its dimensions. In such a context, the role of effective change management in crisis management is an increasingly common problem area in public institutions, and the good implementation of this management tool implies higher levels of efficiency in organizations.
