Are we still at the beginning? Looking back at fourteen years of conferences on family policy

Summary/Abstract: This spring marked fifteen years since the first regular conference on family policy was held in the attic of the Senate building by the National Centre for the Family initially organised with the financial support of the Czech-German Fund for the Future and, subsequently, in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and foreign partners. At the beginning of the tradition of these conferences, held with international participation, the organisers planned to transfer foreign experience in the field of public policy dealing with the status of the family to the Czech political environment.
