Equal opportunities from the family policy perspective

Summary/Abstract: For many years, the National Centre for the Family has actively participated in the public debate on equal opportunities. Over the years, however, this concept has changed significantly and it is reasonable to state that the term "equal opportunities" is understood slightly differently from person to person. This development eventually led to the organisation of a seminar entitled "Equal opportunities from the family policy perspective" which took place on 20 September 2016 in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament building. The seminar was held under the auspices of Members of the Chamber of Deputies Pavla Golasowská, Jitka Chalánková and Nina Nováková and was jointly organised by the National Centre for the Family and the Association of Centres for the family.
