Features of Models and Modeling Using Digital Twin Technology

Summary/Abstract: Digital Twin (DT) is a rapidly evolving technology. The convergence of the physical and virtual worlds using DT leads to advantages in different sectors. In these sectors, DT technology can be used for monitoring, diagnostics, forecasting and optimization. The aim of the work is to outline practical guidelines for the implementation and use of digital twin technology, analyzing the features of digital modeling using DT. Contributing moments are the in-depth analysis of the features of modeling using DT, practical guidelines are given, and a comparative analysis of the functionality of specialized tools (Predix, MindSphere and ANSYS), contributing to the successful development of DT.
