Summary/Abstract:The assessment of the current status of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) is particularly important for the existence of the human race. Regardless of the agreements reached among the peoples on the reduction of WMD, tendencies have emerged in recent decades in the disregard of international treaties. Real signs have emerged about the return of the Cold War years. In order to avoid local and larger conflicts using WMD, serious diplomatic negotiations are needed to ensure that problems are solved without the use of these weapons.

Summary/Abstract:Space technologies are an interesting and revolutionary, but also complex, interdisciplinary scientific and applied field of study, a significant part of the aspects and applications of which are not well known outside the narrowly specialized scientific community. This report aims to introduce the individual elements of space science and space technologies. Spacecraft, orbits for different purposes, and terrestrial space complexes have been explored. The following are the main strands of space science - aerospace, space physics, space meteorology, remote Earth exploration, space science and material production, space communication systems, space navigation and geodetic systems, space biology and medicine, space technology and security . Some of the "terrestrial" applications of space technologies are also explored, as well as some still debated issues such as the landing of Americans on the Moon. Naturally, a brief review of the historical development and the greater successes of space research and technology in Bulgaria is made.

Summary/Abstract:The publication examines the specifics of corrective and compassionate sustained effect of application Methodology of Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952), Doctor of Medicine, Scientist, Psychologist, Anthropologist, Pedagogue, Humanist and Philosopher in Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from pre-school age. The educational decisions she applies are based on her observations as a physician at the psychiatric clinic in Rome, mostly on orphan children with very severe disabilities - mental and psychical. Montessori notices the importance of learning sentiment and finds that mental deficiency is more pedagogic than a medical problem and develops a method of education and training. The success of this method is impressive, as ordinary means make great progress with the backward. She develops special exercises that develop speech through fine finger training, where the nerve endings stimulate the speech centers in the cerebral cortex. With the help of special tools and games, students in the school can study the world around them based on their own sensory experience. The main task of the educator is to create an active development environment in which there are no random objects and details. Each element of this environment must perform a strictly defined function.

Summary/Abstract:The proposed study sets out a completely different perspective for the dating of major events related to the life of Prince Asparuh. Using the correct dating of the “Names of the Bulgarian Princes”, for the first time are determined the Prince's birthday, for the first time, are defined his reign and his passing, as a ruler, south of the Danube River . Summary/Abstract:The paper presents the concepts of the authors about the pedagogically-viable results that the use of traditional folktale narratives and folk games can have on children. One of the most important aspects of today’s life is the popularization of the cultural heritage which is seen as part of the process of handing over national and ethnical information between generations as a way to preserve the sustainability of messages and morals born by the folk genre for children. The transfer of knowledge between generations is a key factor in the educational process involving the younger generation, i.e. the future of the nation. Summary/Abstract:The paper aims to analyze the continuum of preserving national traditions as an important accent in the increasingly globalized world. It also aims to emphasize the sustainable trend of exchanging information, knowledge, social competence and ethno-traditional values through the so called non-material cultural heritage, i.e. national folklore in some of its genres suitable for children. As a way to counteract globalization, different communities are trying eben harder to preserve their own culture and national identity. Summary/Abstract:The article present an innovative model of work. We developer topics from the geography section of the man and society in the IV A class of ox in the doctor Petar Beron city of Debelets. I invited assistant professor Evdokia Stefanova and together we did the development. The idea was to use the knowlodge of the students in information technology. From the first grade, ICT is being studied in the LMS classes – informational communication technology. Summary/Abstract:Two coastal areas that differ substantially in physico-geographic characteristics have been analyzed. Aiming better detail, the area of Galata Cape - Emine Cape has been divided into five sections. The change of the hypsometry in east-west direction has been followed. After an analysis of the available data, possible damage in a case of a tsunami inundating the coast has been identified. An opinion has been submitted that the area of Cape Galata - Cape Emine is more vulnerable to damage. Conclusions and recommendations for prevention have been made.

Summary/Abstract:The aim of this study is an investigation for analytical recovery of soid phase extraction of triazines by two type C18 cartridges - Oasis HLB and Cleanert PEP-2. High analytical recovery (more than 70-80 %) for both of cartridges makes them appropriate for simazine, prometon, atrazine, ametrin, propazin, terbuthylazine. The cartridges Oasis HLB are little better for some of triazines and covers a wider pH range that makes it more suitable for the purpose of the laboratory analysis.

Summary/Abstract:Microcystins are hepatotoxic cyclic heptapeptide toxins produced by cyanobacteria. One of the most dangerous is the microcystin-LR. The European Commission has issued a proposal for a Directive on the Quality of Water Intended for Human Consumption. The proposal is a recast of Directive 98/83/EC, which was amended in 2003, 2009 and 2015.Microcystin-LR is included in the proposal as a “Chemical Parameter”, with a parametric value of 1 μg/l.

Summary/Abstract:The Bulgarian Military Police (MP) Service shall protect the public order. To carry out this function MP have the powers and authorities to use physical force and auxiliary means. When this power is performed by MP bodies, some basic Human Rights could be derogated. This is very sensitive area and MP servicemen shall be educated and trained, so that MP should use physical force only when this is absolutely necessary. The use of physical force and auxiliary means shall stop immediately after it has achieved its lawful aim. This function and description of auxiliary means is regulated in the Military Police Act.

Summary/Abstract:The Black Sea crosses interests and spheres of influence. In order to maintain a stable environment of safety and security, it is necessary to balance the EU, NATO and UN security management norms, as well as the national interest. Research work results are obtained by using methodology based on system analysis. Using methodology given by system approach it is possible to assess maritime security elements related with legal aspects of naval mine threat. Undoubtedly, it affects the maritime transportation system as part of global seaborne activities. There is necessity of new-designed applicable International legal regulations applicable to use of Naval Mines. Probably it is appropriate, the issue to be under UN jurisdiction. Summary/Abstract:Considering the global financial and political crisis, drug trafficking turns into major financial resource for certain countries, terrorist organizations, paramilitary structures, threatening the health of society as well as the national security of all countries.The traditional trafficking routes for the synthetic psyhoactive drug fenethylline, known as “Captagon”, from Eastern Europe to the Arabian Peninsula have been analyzed alongside the reasons for establishing new ones.The study is relevant given the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East. The methodology used is based on analysis and use of a deductive methods to formulate solid conclusions.

Summary/Abstract:The aim of this document is to start a discussion on the topic “What is the fastest way to implement in Bulgaria the new standard “Trauma system”.Historically speaking the question of higher survival rate of heavily injured trauma patients (including in critical conditions) was placed during and after the wars in Korea and Vietnam. Military doctors implemented some organizational principles, in urban conditions they are met with complete unpreparedness for adequate and fast response as an answer to trauma and critical conditions. They, together with former pilots of helicopters (evacuated injured) and additional personnel, found the American Trauma Society (ATS).In the university of Maryland (1961-1963) began the discussion on the matter and after a few more steps, a National Trauma System was established, which was later supported by the law (in 1992). Same applies to other countries with some small modifications. In our country, despite the few implemented elements of it, such a system does not yet exist.

Summary/Abstract:Financial safety is one of the most important, relatively autonomous components of the economic safety system. The latest global financial and economic crisis (2008-2011) puts forward a set of methodological, legal and practical issues related to the conceptual nature, the indicative framework and the mechanisms for assessing and managing financial processes for ensuring financial security on national, regional and corporate levels. Over the last decade, the theoretical and methodological foundations of financial science, in particular financial security, have been actively developing but so far there have not been found any unified understanding or methodological system for its evaluation and management. Financial safety is a complex, multi-dimensional and multi-level phenomenon that has a direct and substantial attitude towards the socio-economic development of society. It is the most important qualitative characteristic of all elements of the national safety system. On the one hand, it is a class concept in relation to the generic concept of “economic safety”, but on the other hand, via its most essential property - diffusion, it penetrates through all components of the national safety system. The current article summarizes the results of the theoretical research on defining the conceptual nature of financial security, the boundaries of its system and its component structure as well as the indicative framework for its evaluation. The practical significance of this possesses the possibility the results obtained to be used in strategic management at all levels - national, regional and corporate.

When creating a team, the client has a problem with whom the action plan is being prepared. The relatives or relatives also participate in the planned activities. They will be assigned to those responsible or to the persons involved in the implementation of the activities. The multidisciplinary team can include the following specialists: social worker, medical specialist, ergotherapist, occupational therapist, art therapist, psychologist and others. The work of the team is not a collection of opinions, but a thorough and consistent work.

Summary/Abstract:The paper presents a survey on the role of business communications in modern organizations in the context of global trends and challenges posed by globalization processes and set priorities for sustainable development. Summary/Abstract:The effects of aggressive predispositions following the model of Friedman & Rosenman, 1974; Friedman & Kewley, 1988, Morris, 1990 on Academic Motivation on Academic Motivation Scale by Gordeeva, T.O., 2013. The study was conducted on a sample of 189 people, 51.9% of whom were men and 48.1% - women between the ages of 14 and 49. The results obtained show significant correlations between the aspects of academic motivation for achievement, self-esteem and self-perfection, and aggressive predispositions to A-type behavior. It is confirmed that moderate behavior as well as behavior A have a positive influence on academic motivation.

Summary/Abstract:A technology for carrying out simulation studies and prediction of the mechanical properties of Fe-Cr-Ni steel coating deposited onto polymer substrates is presented. The use of such method would shorten the time necessary for experimental studies which is an expensive and long procedure. The data obtained from the simulation study were compared to the experimentally obtained results for a coating deposited onto polymer POLIPOM®POM to prove good agreement between them.

Summary/Abstract:A disintegration-cavitation pump design is proposed for finely grinding a solid phase and dispersing it in a liquid phase in order to obtain stable suspensions.The pump design includes a suction section, a cavitation zone and a pressure section. A methodology is proposed for the structural dimensioning of the basic elements depending on the hydrodynamic mode of operation, the dispersion composition and the physicochemical characteristics of the grinding material. It has high performance and small gauges.

Summary/Abstract:A combination of aramid, polyvinyl alcohol and nanoparticles of Si3N4, combined in a single composite system for individual ballistic protection is presented. Physico-mechanical and ballistic tests confirm that balistic resistance increases with increasing content of polyvinyl alcohol together with nanoparticles of silicon nitride in the system thus created. Scanning electron microscopy shows a relatively uniform distribution of Si3N4 particles on the surface of the aramid before and after the ballistic studies.

Summary/Abstract:Increased demand of consumers on mobile services with high data rate and development of mobile broadband communication systems will require more spectrum to be available in the future. In 5G mobile communication systems, the spectrum issue is one of the most important parts. Summary/Abstract:This report shows the research of eight bearing units of a sunflower header, production of the Metalurg factory in Dobrich. The oscillations on the three coordinate axes were investigated. The maximum, minimum, average values of the oscillations and the resulting vector were determined. Frequency Fourier transformation was also performed. The resulting experimental results are the basis for improving / optimizing the operation of the bearing units of the machine as a whole.

Summary/Abstract:In modern warfare there has been increased use of various weapon systems like tanks, artillery, mortars, infantry armored vehicles, multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). Hostilities often are conducted in densely populated urban areas, where most victims are given by the civilian population. It is the application of systems of detection and reconnaissance sources of sound (the weapons), and also the quick disclosure of their locations. It achieves a „rapid response” of the threats and reduces casualties. Wavelet analysis offers a quick way to process acoustic signals received in the shooting which provides the opportunity for quick reconnaissance and defining sources of sound.

Summary/Abstract:In an attempt to reduce the time for processing of huge volumes of data and algorithms calculations researchers have been addressing the concept of distributed computing for the last couple of decades [4,5]. The possibility of utilising the process power of systems in their idle mode has raised yet another much valuable and largely applicable concept, namely donated distributed computing. According to DistributedComputing.Info website, there are hundreds of distributed computing projects in many scientific areas. The most interesting fact, clearly visible in the website, is that there is only one active financial project called MQL5 Cloud Network. Between 2000 and 2010 a German project called MoneyBee was under study. The aim of this project was financial forecasting by artificial neural networks which were trained in a donated distributed computing environment. MoneyBee project was developed and operated by i42 Informations management GmbH company. It was a distributed solution based on a central server and many remote workers. Calculations performed on workers were done during the desktop idle mode while a screensaver was running. In fact, MoneyBee on client machines was the screensaver itself. The goal of the current research is to recreate the ideas used in MoneyBee project on modern mobile devices. Android Live Wallpaper is employed for background calculations executed for training of artificial neural network [9] in the mobile systems idle mode. For the needs of the study two GitHub projects are used - VitoshaTrade and VitDisComp.

Summary/Abstract:At the top of the atmosphere there are several ultraviolet emissions. The most important are Lα emissions at 121.6 nm and the oxygen emitted OI 130.4 nm and 135.6 nm. A new method with three independent channels for synchronous measurement of each of these lines is proposed. As a sensor for measuring such weak light fluxes used high performance Photomultiplier (PMT) R10825.The photon counting method is used to amplify and process very weak light signals. The intensity of the light is proportional to that number.
