Summary/Abstract: Legitimisation of power is a tool of social engineering, implying different normative codes for social and political “correct” behavior, governance and management of the masses. The risk is related to “Cui bono?” - who has the most interest, who will benefit from the chain of related circles and actors. The present paper raises this and other vital questions in the context of the national identity, the legitimation of power and the directed deconstructions of national memory in the context of the increasingly globalizing world.
