Summary/Abstract: The article presents the concept of guidance from didactic indications on the way and the form of preparation, planning, assignment, realization and verification of the homework of students in secondary education in Macedonia. There is a situation analysis of homework on geography in curricula and textbooks presented. Analyzes are presented and conclusions are drawn about the place and importance, the role and capacity, the content and the complexity, the possibilities and the problems with the placement of the homework on geography.
