Summary/Abstract: An overview is made of the most commonly used non-lethal devices. The properties of the individual components and their role in achieving an optimal special effect at an acceptable level of safety have been analyzed. The main features of non-lethal light-sound foreign models, as well as the results of research in this field, conducted in IMSETHC-BAS, are described.
