Summary/Abstract: The paper consists of an introduction, three parts and a conclusion. The introduction indicates what the chosen topic recommends insisting on the influence of ordoliberalism on European self-understanding, but also on the corresponding conceptual challenges. The first part deals with the genesis of the influence of ordoliberalism, and its reasons. In the second part, the figure of the state of emergency is treated with special emphasis on the problematization of today's influential transformation of the same figure into the relationship between the norm and the exception. In addition, elements of emergency perpetuation are discussed. The third part analyzes the processes of economization of the state of emergency and the corresponding consequences regarding the current status of ordoliberalism. Finally, the conclusion points to the ambivalent position of ordoliberalism with regard to the relations between the legal and economic domains, as well as the perpetuation of crisis moments.
