Summary/Abstract: Creative art therapy is a form of therapy that uses artistic activities as a means of expressing and processing emotions. It can be used to treat a variety of mental and emotional health problems such as anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties and behavioural disorders. Art therapy is guided by the process of projecting inner images into drawings, shapes, and colours, which then crystallise and establish lasting concepts. The essential aim is for beneficiaries to move towards a self-fulfilment and meaningful life, regardless of the degree of disability, through participation in the artistic process. For therapy to be effective, it is important that the client's participation is voluntary. When a person engages in artistic activities on their own initiative, they can expose their emotions and feelings in a deeper way and explore their thoughts and behaviours in a safe and accepting environment. This can help develop coping skills and increase her sense of safety and self-discovery
