Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the issue of the employment of socially disadvantaged workers, in particular the question of the conditions under which persons released from serving a sentence of imprisonment can be employed in the service sector so as to ensure their complete reintegration into working life. The article employs a theoretical interpretation of social deviation. Securing a job is one of the most important factors determining the quality of the future lives of those released from imprisonment. The article answers the questions: What exacerbates the situation for persons released from prison with respect to entering the labour market? At the current time, what are the conditions in the labour market for the employment of persons released from prison?
