Summary/Abstract: The objective of this study is to describe, from a sociolinguistic point of view, the discourses that support the contribution of mass media to the promotion and spread of Amazigh in Morocco. The research is carried out on the basis of a corpus representing the period stretching more or less from the recognition of the Amazigh by the State in 2001 (Ajdir speech) until its constitutionalization in 2011 and is drawn from field work, Television and radio broadcasts, press articles and cartoons. The study of this corpus allows us to examine the various attitudes adopted by the subjects investigated with regard to the question of Amazigh. Our attention focused on the debates that have taken place on the rehabilitation of the Amazigh language, with particular reference to the specificities of the speeches conveyed and the stakes involved.
