Summary/Abstract: This communication focuses on the actions carried out by the Amazigh Cultural Movement to promote their mother language (Amazigh or Berber) and the decisions that have been taken by the State in order to integrate, in a rather hasty way, Berber into the dynamic sectors of society. Its status has changed, but its use and representations are stagnating.
