Summary/Abstract: Contemporary zombie fiction is often used for metaphoric purposes as a tool to comment social and cultural changes. The comparative analysis of two examples of Argentinean (Ávalos Blacha, Pailos) and Polish (Dehnel, Ostachowicz) zombie literature shows some analogies of the use of the “undead” motive in both national contexts.
